MediaFish is a cooperative of young people from Leeds who are passionate about film and everything to do with it. We provide a variety of film screenings to cater for everyone’s needs. We have screened over 30 films since we started back in October 2007, including ‘The Life of Brian’, ‘The Matrix’, 'Some Like It Hot', 'Akira', 'Edward Scissorhands' and many more. MediaFish is also involved in many other projects, including the Leeds Young Peoples Film Festival which we present. We plan the festival, watch films and write reviews and help design and market the brochure. During the festival we present the films at the cinema and hep present the workshops. In October 2007 we went over to Amsterdam to visit one of the largest film festivals in Europe. This was a very good film festival; we are now planning on visiting many more film festivals throughout the world. During the next few months there will be lots more exciting film screenings for you to come along and see.
