MediaFish News Leeds Young People's Film Festival The 11th edition of Leeds Young People's Film Festival is taking place from 29th March - 9th April 2010 with lots of exciting films to see and things to do. Award Winning MediaFish We are overjoyed to announce that we recently won the Local Government Yorkshire and Humber 'Making a Difference' Award for significant impact on the lives of people through cultural activities. We were shortlisted from over 110 nominations and beat off strong opposition from North East Lincolnshire Council and Hull City Council to come away with the award (which is really big and heavy!). It's a great prize and recognition for such a brilliant project that now has nearly 200 hundred members (and is still growing). If you haven't been to one of our FREE screenings you should and see what it's all about.
